Silver plated motherboard!?!
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

I can't remember off the top of my head (I no longer carry around my engineering tables and data), but isn't copper a better conductor of heat than silver?
What we really need is diamond heatsinks - diamond is a very good conductor of heat but electrically insulating. Might be difficult to manufacture and rather expensive though...DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

Metals - thermal conductivities in WcmdegC(higher is better):
Al 3.00
Cd 1.03
Cr 1.58
Cu 4.83
Au 3.45
Fe 1.32
Pb 0.396
Mg 1.69
Mo 1.79
Ni 1.58
Nb 0.552
Pt 0.79
Ag 4.50
Ta 0.592
Sn 0.85
Ti 0.312
W 2.35
Zn 1.32
Copper is better, according to my sources.DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

Those results were at 100 Kelvin (!) - my bad.
This is better: http://www.scinfitech.com/engineerre.../thermcon.html
(sorry - there is a popup there!)
Silver is the best, followed closely by copper according to these results at room temp.DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

They must be using some newly formulated silver based electrostatic paint to make these claims.
