Install Fails For Video Tools Under 2K
Having had to re-iunstall 2K, I have tried to install the drivers for my G400 Max + RRG. I can get the display drivers installed fine, but the Video tools gets as far as preparing Microsoft installer, then stalls. It is still running (in the task manager, I can see the process, but it is not taking any CPU or any more memory, there is no sign of it on the display as it closes the window it has open)
Do I just need to leave it for an hour or so and it will work itself out, or is there anothe rissue? I have service Pack 2 installed and Dx8.1, Can't think of any other items which would cause problems...
I have tried 539+VT2.04 and 586+VT2.10a
Both stop at the same point and in the same way. If anyone has come across this before / knows how to fix, please let me know.
