    Huh? That didn't make any sense.

    Fans fail. It's a fact of life, especially when you have 50-100 of them in a system, you're going to lose some every once in a while. That's one of the reasons so many large mainframes were watercooled for a long time. Fans are actually more efficient, but less reliable.
    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
