    KT400 + Hercules 8500LE = ?

    I saw a notice in a magazine that there is supposed to be stability problems if you use a Hercules Radeon 8500LE graphics card with a KT333/400 based motherboard.

    Is this familiar, Anyone had any problems? I'm a bit worried here since I ordered a Epox mobo today with the KT400 chip and I have a Hercules 8500LE 64MB...

    I've heard it, but I say it's mostly bullsh*t. I think that incompatibility was found in some early revisions of Abit or MSI KT333 boards, and the dealers became kinda paranoid. Most boards run the 8500LE's just fine, and especially Epox boards have been very stable with the 8500LE. Hey, I'm running an Epox KT333 board with a Hercules 8500LE right now and it's rock stable.

      Ok, sounds very good. Probably only with some crap asus/abit boards.
