Unless you're really keen on DD5.1/DTS, SVCD is DVD-quality video but runs closer to 40 minutes per disc.

SVCD discs can look pretty good when produced properly, but to say that they are "DVD-quality" is somewhat of a stretch.SVCD is DVD-quality video...Comment
