    What does everyone here prefer?

    Wah! Wah!

In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship.

At present MPC appears to be the format of choice for sound quality....
Let us return to the moon, to stay!!!

Ogg supposedly has better soundquality than MP3... but since MP3 is _the_ standard, I prefer it over ogg.. and at 192 Kb, MP3 is good enough for most of my needs

In terms of hardware, I've got an MPIO DMK, which is tiny and therefore great for the gym (which I really should go to more often), and a RioVolt which is great for everything else (car, home, drumming "practice" ). If I could get equivalent (and decent) Ogg-supporting hardware I'd switch over, especially if they (Xiph.) implemented the bitrate peeling feature.
Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.

MP3 VBR can compete with OGG, which is still slightly better at the same bitrate. However none of my devices supports OGG or will, and i don't see any hardware supporting it in the distant future that's why i prefer MP3.
