    Yesterday i have buy a radeon 9700 pro.

    The quality is horrible compared to my latest g400 Max.

    The velocity is true, is greater, but i can't feel the same breed when i look at the monitor.

    In the panel details of the catalyst driver, i got the following:

    128 MB sdr/sgr ram

    Is the 9700 pro a DDR card or a sdr card?

    can anyone help me?

    i got this 3dmark score 11400
    My system:
    atlhon xp 2100+
    512 mb ddr pc2100
    asus a7v266 agp4x

    In answer to your question the Radeon 9700 is a DDR card and the signal quality is great

                tell you the truth the G200 I had hooked to my 20in LCD looks better then the R9700 I have in my Primary rig....even running DVI-D and the G200 on RGB and thats a BBA retail card.
                Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

                  Yup....

                  The bottom line is that the kiddies can play all they want with the fast 3D cards, but when it's time for setting up a workstation for 2D (especially for editing video) you can't beat Matrox's G cards & Parhelia.

                    Yup my G550 is better than the 9700 Maya I've got. Come to that my G400 is as well.
                    Chief Lemon Buyer no more Linux sucks but not as much
