    Just curious:
Can IRfanview set the timestamp of a file to the date in the exif-header ?
(and if so, can it do that in batch ?)

Those filetypes are disassociated for me...and I didn't download any plugins specifically. :-(

When I ran ACDSee (which i did for years), v 2 or so was my fav. The new ones tried to do too much.

Yeah... ACDSee does that nowadays too. I have to fiddle with it and see if I can completely disable the movie viewing functions. Maybe disable those plugins and disassociate those filetypes.

Topha-Not bad, but my main problem is that when i "scroll" through directories that contain more than just images, it tries to preview everything...movies, mp3s, etc. Kind of annoying.

I have always used ACDSee, but I was just wondering if there was a good free one, something better and newer.

Yeah, XP has one built in, it's so so, but i'm not a huge fan.

    Topha-i'll give that a shot.

The XP one is fast going forwards...rather slow going backwards!

Irfan View is supposed to be good.

The one built into XP is fast and halfway decent.

ACDSee Classic is either free or VERY VERY cheap, it's years old but still the fastest best viewer available.

Anyone know of any GOOD free, small image viewer programs for windows...preferably ones that have a slide show option and that can scroll through pictures with the mousewheel?
Working...
