Ut2003

Just installed the latest patch and this has slowed the game down. Now can I install over the top or is a case of uninstall and start again.
If I uninstall can I save the present game position??
Also is there a way of reducing the number of points needed in the canonball run or set a time limit on it.

WHen I'm in doubt about overwritng my game saves, i normally zip subdiretories that I'm suspicous of containing the save game files. I don't play UT2003, but when I played the old one, i think there was a "user" file or folder...might get you in the right direction there.

There is definately a save file, I am pretty sure it is called 'Save' and is in the main UT2003 directory. I have reinstalled a few times and everything works if you just replace the files. They have the name of the your player.

Not sure on the install over the top thing although I wouldn't do it.
