Finally the Fujiyama arrived I also bought some AS3 and installed a case fan at the top of the rear, my CPU temps are now 39°C idle / 50° full load (prime95) at 2.5GHz/1.5V, so it's 4 degrees better than before, is that okay?

P.S.: 2.66GHz wasn't stable with prime95 running overnight...

My temp is 2 (or 3, sometimes) degree below yours.
I'm kind of surprise yours doesn't do 2.66... okay but thats at default voltage If you think it is necessary, buy a YS Tech "magnetic" 70mm fan, the fan you are using is a silent one at 2500rpm.

All PC fans are "magentic", think the words you are looking for here is "Tip Magnetic Driving" Fan (T.M.D. Fan)

Atho a neat design, some suppliers had to discontinue their sales because of these units shorting out the 12v supply rail taking out the system, PS and or the fan itself with it. Y.S. Tech denies any issues.

WyWyWy what is the ambient room temp when measuring the peak temps? In what manner did you test peak temp?

My room temp is around 22°C~72°F, I get my CPU temp from Asus' PC Probe, after prime95 has been running the torture test for about a half an hour.

Room temp is about 20 to 21 constant.
Peak temp = Sandra burn-in 30 mins. Temp as shown on MBM5.
I don't have a case, just a motherboard tray.
Cartman's Northwood should have lower temp than mine, but no case = a few degree drop.

Oh btw, the TMD is supposed NOT to short out 12v rail.
Normal fan = stuck->draw all current to have more force to move
TMD fan = stuck->don't draw any current at all for 4 sec (or something like that) to protect 12v rail and fingers.

Pretty disappointed by YS Tech now though
