But I dont have a case so dont compare with mine.

My friend has a PC-7 (which is about the same with PC-60 except mobo tray), and his case temp is about 28 constantly.

    Is your PSU dual fan?

    EDIT:
Or is yours a VIA chipset? It is hotter.
I have a 430 watt Enermax power supply and yes, it's dual fan.

I am running a Soyo Dragon mother board with an XP1800+ .

Topha - I like the unique fin design on those fans.

Too bad they don't make the fans with the magnets on the "outside" (as opposed to center) in 80mm yet. :-(

        Those Verax-fans look über-cööl

I am often amused when hearing stories about modders adding
multiple small fans, complaining about the noise and then dropping v0ltage fed to the fan, from which higher case temps follow, and more fans are added.. which create more noise and so on..

For as quiet case as possible use as large fans as you can. And
run those large fans on as low rounds-per-minute as possible.
80mm*80mm is the minimum size, with 120mm fans@ around 1000 rpm being pretty nice. Like this one:

Yeah and always remember axial fans suck/pull air out not push
into case... just my 2 cents tho

PS: Dont beleive whatever those dB ratings are thats 99% bunch of crap

As far as I know those verax fans produce 19dB, which is not as low as the 12 that the pabst fans claim, but thats just a claim.

19dB is about 1dB above the hearing limit, if i remember one of those reviews correctly

That's because they don't recieve their advice from here

as has been mentioned in tens of posts found in this forum over the last few years.

              Don't forget the deepness!!
I heard someone using Delta fans 38mm deep (the noisest fans) with 5V line and having good results. Unlike normal fans, Delta fans have start voltage of 3V instead of 6.6V.

I disagree. It's a pretty damn low temperature.

25C? My ROOM isn't even that cold.

                  Wombat's correct.

Not to mention this is not measuring actual internal case air temps but the chipset in most cases.

During the summer months here (LOL 9 months of the year) with an indoor air temp of ~27c, I'm doing good to get 35c.
