      so let's stay on track. So assuming The Inquirer is not BSing is it the GeForce FX Ultra that will be stopped, or is it the normal one?

      p.s. even the lower clocked one still has the built-in nV vaccum cleaner right?

      ... so how do u dump out the dust out anyways? bad design nVIDIA

        As you can see, the 4800 is a 4600 with AGP 8x and the 4800SE is actually a 4400 with AGP 8x.

        You can also see it doesn't do squat for performance...

          Should be the Ultra one. Methinks they have the next revision ready or near ready for production. With ATi moving to R350, it's a way to sell your chips at a cheaper price than be stuck with inventory (cheaper as for the Ultra version of course). Maybe they'll introduce the revised GFFX in May/June (if it's taped out already and they regain their 90 days schedule...) with a nice Ultra tag...
