Pretty good sound quality, but after a week or so it started popping randomly even when unconnected to the computer and the computer is turned off. If anyone was considering to buy the please do not until creative sort this problem. In other words never buy these speakers. From the sound of it it's probably a power supply problem, but I am not spending 30 quid on a power supply for some 75 quid speakers. Just a warning to any poor sod who was considering buying these speakers.

Serves me right for going against my instincts and buying these speakers, but the bloody klipschs aren't available in England. Thney have n outlet in Jamaica, but not in the UK. Go figure. In the meantime, I need some high quality headphones (BTW I hate headphones because they _always_ get broken, like the el cheapo pair I broke yrsterday morning)[size=1]D3/\/7YCR4CK3R

I have, and I got the automated reply today. I bought these to tide me over until I get back home. Jammy, those look sweet, but I am currently in England, and they aren't available here. Read my previous post.[size=1]D3/\/7YCR4CK3R

oops
If you grab a nice pair of grado or sennheiser headphones, they will sound great and they don't break easily. I've had my senn's for over 2-years, have towed them to hell and back again, and they still work wonderfully.
Of course, they are bulky. But the Grado's are more compact, and would probably sound better off your computer anyway.
Check out the SR-60, 80 and 125. A bit pricey, but the sound is incredible.

Finally sent stuff off to Creative yesterday. I forgot I had my proof of purchase as a pdf file from dabs.com . I suspect I'll need a new sub as well as I'd been using the set for quite some time after the popping started. I note that the 6600s which are the same except that they use a 110 V adapter instead of the 240 V one don't have this problem.[size=1]D3/\/7YCR4CK3R
