Don't really think it matters if you buy a + or - anyway. The discs I burned so far play in everything I have and also a few friends of mine have no probs either. Plus, even is + wins in a few years...how many of you are still using old 2x CD-R writers? I think by the time one of the standards 'wins'....those of us with DVD writers will be upgrading to faster writers anyway....and + and - drives can read each others media, so its no prob.
