That, actually, would suck. Video cards are generally much faster than processors. It's just that the processors are very specialized, and CPUs are more general-purpose.
I thought the same thing years ago...I thougt that they should put a Socket 7 on video cards so that way you can swap out the CPU, etc. But the more I learned about video cards, the more I saw how differently they must act from a CPU.Comment
