  • Memory Bandwidth: 9.6G/sec!!!

    This is phenomenal!!!
    9.6g/s what the hell!!

    Although it is RDRAM afterall

In my opinion, if they drop the licensing fee by around 50% they could make a really nice come-back.

The price of 1066 RIMM is about double of 3200 DDR now. If they can make it 150% the price of DDR, it would be so nice!

My P4 does need that kind of bandwidth man....

    Yep, read about that too

They should put an rdram controller in the athlon64, would be nice

That should be enough bandwidth for a realtime editing system

              Did you underclock your RAMs?

Yes, my Samsung cannot run over 350mhz.
I now have 150 fsb so I have to run them at 300mhz cl-2

Or I can run cpu @ 133 fsb and mem at 333mhz... but there isn't as much "wow"ing effect.

                Ordered some Twinmos 3200 though
SHould be with me by the end of the week...

QDR with DDR II chips based on EDRAM....you can pick the frequency.

or make it QDR SRAM at that...then again RAMBUS ain't that bad, if only they'd work on latency....
