    I've finally got a useful blue screen of death which indicates a driver fault. Now I need to look at the mini dump file to see if I can see what driver is causing it. Now how the hell do I do that??

      I believe there is an article of "Windows Insider" that talks about analysing windows dump files. Try search for that (google and msdn).
