I dunno, I've owned three Canon inkjet devices. The first was the BJC-5100. It is still in use, works good and prints well. Then there is the S450. Frankly, it has sucked in every aspect that I can think of - USB doesn't work right, print heads get clogged, print quality is poor. The latest is the Smartbase MPC200 multi-function scanner / printer / copier. It's quite slow, but works well and prints good quality images.

OK, let me clarify, the Canons I stand by are the individual cartridge 4,5 and 6 color injets.

The crappy i250, i450, and i470 are just that, crap...

The i560, i860, i960, and the i9100, on the other hand...

Take note that you can replace the printhead separately with Canon, as you cannot with Epson...
Let us return to the moon, to stay!!!

I've put a lot of paper of all sorts through my i9100 by now, and it absolutely tops anything I've ever had or seen. I now use it for everything, the laser and HP are gathering dust, but mainly for photos. Nothing beats those photos. But choose your papers well. Canon, Ilford and Tetenal are best. HP paper, forget it!
How can you possibly take anything seriously?
        Who cares?
