      hehehe:

      4:11pm up 28 days, 5:17, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

and that's with a big download going on.

Edit: Actually, the download won't affect the load average anyway...

        Well it sounds interesting...

I have tried a couple of Linux-based firewalls of this type and haven't had much luck. So far, I have not seen both NICs at the same time.

Were they ISA NICs of the same type? In that case, you probably need a kernel boot-time option. If you look under Documentation/networking in the kernel source, there should be something there that tells you what you need to do.

They were both 3C905b nics (PCI). Also, neither one would work individually with the built-in nic.

I was trying to implement NETBSD and another similar program (I forget).

              I feel your Pain...

I didn't bother screwing with ISA NICs: it was easier to let the Kernel figure out which NIC went where...

I used three NICs of the same Brand and that was a little hellish to configure...

With PCI NICs The Lazy way to do it is to set up the machine initially with only two NICs, and configure them as the Green and the Orange: then see which NIC assigns What IP address and go from there. After the Green and Orange are up, shutdown, physically install the Red NIC and configure it. Viola!

LOL!!! No..not really, though my children are quite taken with the movie... My personal favorite Disney movie, from a comedic perspective has to be "The Emperor's New Groove".

Lilo & Stitch was hilarious... but I don't think kids would get most of the humor.

My favorite line... as they look at pictures of fat sunburnt tourists on the wall... "Aren't they BEAUUUUTIFUL?"

For Drama, though it was panned by the critics...all whom I suspect have never read the original Treasure Island (Or if they did, failed to grasp the meaning of it), I did like Disney's "Treasure Planet". "Tarzan" was decent as well.
