Internet Sharing question

I would like to share the internet with my neighbor, who has high speed ( trying to keep cost down by not subscribing to it myself)
I have a router already, 8 port linksys jobbie. The question is: is there a way to only share the internet on such a router, and not have my neighbor accessing my Lan? i.e not being able to even see the computers in network neighborhood?, or is there a better way to do this, not involving the router?

Any thoughts are welcome.

So a personal firewall on each computer is the only way to make sure my neighbor cannot see my computers.. hmm... I hoped there was a better solution.. preferably something where I could block netbios( or netbios on TCP/IP) on the router on his ports..

You could, but then you'd have to have another nic to your machines with netbios enabled.

Well, if your router is configurable, and can selectively block ports, then sure. Just block the netbios ports that MS uses for filesharing and you're all set.
