Look at those coolers right here

Gonna get some of those in a few months (as soon as I can afford them) to replace all other fans in my case. Wanted those ever since I heard about them.

      Drizzt, just get MBM 5.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I was asking about the Volcano 9 because I had one waiting to be installed over my new XP 1800 and I was curious about the noise level.
Now I've installed, I've decided that it can be considered "silent" up to the speed of ~ 3000 rpm.

I'll get MBM5, so to see if at 3000 rpm the CPU is cooled enough
Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.

From what I've read the best money-is-no-worry setup is a Thermalright SLK-900U with a Panaflo or Vantec Stealth.
Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra 9, Opteron 170 Denmark 2x2Ghz, 2 GB Corsair XMS, Gigabyte 6600, Gentoo Linux
