It seems they may be using optimized SIMD code the the celeron doesn´t support.

Yes, the celeron tualatin had SSE right? I was missing it. It would be kind of stupid to optimize for 3dNow and SSE2 and leaving SSE out.
But if only celeron users (what about PIII?) are experiencing it, then they must have done something on the drivers celly doesn´t support.
It almost reminds me of G400 TurboGl. Those were the days
