  • office deskchair...

    Hello,

Perhaps a strange question. I'm on the lookout for a decent chair, but suffer from back-problems. I currently have a Vitramat 200, but need a second model (one at work, a second one at home). Today at work, I got the RHMoveon for tryout (a couple of weeks).

It seems ok, but somehow lacking certain comfort-features (perhaps I need to get used to it: the back/seat are adjustable, but remain fixed while sitting). Nevertheless, it currently is the best of the ones I tried before.

Now, does any of you guys here have experiences with the Vitra Ypsilon chair ?

    or with the Meda2

I say give it a try and go for best chair you can afford.

You may want to look into aeron chair.

Regardless, chair will be used by you, so you have to feel good using it and also personal taste has a play.

    I have this one:

Left one, but in slightly different colour and with metal sides.

Yes... I was just wondering if other murcers have "special" chairs for comfort or health...

A problem is that it always takes time to try out chairs, and that you can't try out indefinately... Furthermore, it is usually a large investment, and you really need to be sure before buying something. I've read about the aeron chair (I believe I saw it or the meda chair in the MOMA in NY), but it seems harder to find over here...
