Hello MURC,
I dont know if anyone can help me here (i realize this isnt a Dazzle or VideoWave support group (cant find one for either on the net))... but this is what I am trying to do:
I have a g400 dual head (running great under XP) and just aquired a Dazzle (Mojave, Movie Studio II {OEM from DELL} from my brother in law who upgraded to a pinnicle setup) and I had this great idea that I could run the g400 in Dual-Head Clone mode. While running in clone mode, i thought I could use the video cable that came with the card and use the S-Video connector to plug into the Dazzle device, and then use VideoWave to do realtime captures of stuff, like game play for very short videos...
Sounds like a great idea.. no?
After wrestling with the Dazzle card, I finally got it to pass all the Hardware and Software tests, and I kick the g400 into clone (hotkeys) but there is no love from a capture perspective.
I was wondering if anyone has tried to do this before, and whether or not they were successful. If you were successful, what on earth did you do to make it work???
Thanks,
Todd in Chicago
