    Sorry to bring this dinosaur back to life...

    Does anyone know if the Raptor gets its power via the old 4 pin or that new slim SATA way that requires an adaptor ?
    Looking at the pic from storagereview, it seems both



    Reading the power requirements specs on WD's site, seems 4 pin:

    "3.3 V Serial ATA power not used in this product"

      being that Raptor is WD's first SATA device I think they have it so you can use either or. Just don't do both.
