Which drivers for Windows 2003?

Hi,

Windows server 2003 looks like Win2k but I rode somewhere that it has a WinXP core. I don't know what drivers to install

Usually they are the same for 2k and XP but some like the nForce2 ones are different. So which ones should I install? the windows 2000 or the XP ones?

I'm having some problems now with some DX9 games and I think that the nForce drivers for Win2000 that I installed might be the cause. however I'll wait to hear what you have to say about it before installing the WinXP version.

I think W2K3 is more closely related to XP, so I'd try those first.

Earlier versions of Powerdesk don't play nicely with .NET 1.1

I think a matrox rep says somewhere in the matrox forums that you should use the drivers that come with win2003server till matrox releases drivers for that OS

Matrox Parhelia Win2kXP drivers work great for Win2003 server.
It doesn't seem to be the problem.

The only apps that have problems are some DX9 games (Line of Sight: Vietnam, Vietcong). My guess is that the nForce2 drivers are the one playing tricky with me, since that was the only update I did before they stop running.

Remind me but a server should be used for serving not gaming.

A network operating system should not be effected by the quality/speed of the video drivers.

In my defence I could say that some games even when running as a dedicated server, they do render the map on screen. Like LOS: Vietnam.

Anyway I'm back to Win2000 for my everyday use. I just finished to download 1 gigabyte of actualizations and security patches
