Can you say if there is banding or not?

One thing I don't understand is why use it? Except for the probable absence of banding, it should be inferior in every way to the fully-fledged Parhelia...are you just trying it out for a few weeks or do you really intend to use it on a more permanent basis?

Well - how about PRICE. Here in Australia your fully-fledged Parhelia is so far out of my price range my pockets spontaneously combust whenever I think about it (~ $800- $1200). My G450 could do with a little spicing up - so I am looking at the P650 and P750 with great interest indeed.

Because that's what beta testers do.

Three? Hell, I think it's even more than that. Athlon Thunderbirds came out about 3 years ago...well over 1Ghz. Might even be about 4+ years since a 750 was out. Man, we've had some good CPU power for quite some time now.

                              Isn't that the PII-300 that clocked at 450 (4.5 x 66 to 4.5 x 100)?

The Celeron 300a was the one everyone would overclock to 450. In fact in my friend's main PC, that's still what he has (of course he has a 1.6ghz Pentium 4 laptop now....)
