Which one ? The Kinesis is somewhere around $290 (it was used in MIB though ! ); the Datahand starts at $995 for the entry model...

Does anyone know a good place to get Cherry keyboards in the UK (or UK layout anyway)? I'm typing on a nice black G83, and I like it a lot, but I'd jump at a soft-touch G80 if I could just find one. (I hate click keyboards)

If you want the best keyboard there is, look out for an original IBM AT jobbie. The ones that weigh about 3 tonnes and when you type fast the whole office takes cover thinking their being strafed by an A10. In fact, they could probably survive being strafed by an A10.

There was a company that were refurbishing them and adding the extra windows keys. I cant remember who it was but someone here supplied the link long ago. IIRC they were about £50 ex vat.

As far as mice go, I'm thinking of a Logitech MX500 for the games box, assuming I get a decent mobo to fit in it.

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/keyboard.htm - I also know a trade supplier who used to deal with them, but I have not used them in a while. PM if you're interested

Midgard, yes, they are german keyboards. They can be had with a variety of layouts, though

Personally, I like the look of Logitech's higher-end keyboards...

The one I am using right now...

The audio and power saving buttons are quite convinent... I like it!
