  • Parhelia HSF Modding

Has anyone modded their Parhelia tiny HSF with a beefier model? I've seen some links which show it being done, I'm wondering if anyone who's tried doing this can comment on it. I am mainly curious how heavy a HSF you used and if the "crazy glue on the corners" method works ok.

I ordered a new Parhelia OEM but want to run it a little faster than 200Mhz. I also bought a thermaltake HSF (Slim Volcano 8) and plan on installing this on the Parhelia. I also bought some memory heatsinks too.

    Thanks!

I used a PCI bracket to support the weight, as my heatsink and the two fans are quite heavy (I assume they are about 500gram), as well as one screw through the copper to support it. Oh and 4 corners super glue too.

Still, I am not too confident... the best method would be 2 screws + super glue.

    Anyway, I'm watercooling soon
Any question let me know, or you can email me.

    Cheers.
