  • 3rd party DOS for WinNT?

I know that there are replacements for explorer.exe...but I was just wondering if anyone knew of any 3rd party DOS shell programs that ran in NT based Windows boxes...that perhaps emulates DOS a little better...

    Yep. VDMSound.

I know, I know - it's just a sound blaster emulator, right? WRONG. It emulates NMI's, real Interrupts, old-style CDROM's... basically EVERYthing that you need to run old DOS proggies.

Combine it with WinXP's command shell, and you have virtually 100% DOS compatibility.
