    Yeah. And I check my hard drives ALL THE TIME. Well, not daily but weekly to be sure. I'm not sure WHERE this corruption comes from! It's TRULY maddening. It doesn't happen to WAV files, and it doesn't SEEM to happen to AVI or MPG files. It's REALLY WEIRD.

      I was using CDex with full error correction on, not sure how/whether it conigured the drive.

        Give Exact Audio Copy a shot.

        I'm not going to promise that this won't happen anyway, since it does seem to happen to files sitting on a hard drive for a while.
