  • Cyberpatrol/Surfcontrol

At work I use Cyberpatrol as a server based web filter. This product is very robust so I purchased Cyberpatrol 6 for my wifes 13 year old son.

Twice now the software has mysteriously stopped filtering and has returned back to a non-filtering mode and has locked me out of the admin account.

Anyone got any ideas whats is going wrong with this, cp6 is supposed to be unhackable.

"Perhaps they communicate by changing colour? Like those sea creatures .."
    "Lobsters?"
"Really? I didn't know they did that."
    "Oh yes, red means help!"

To clever for his own good, but I think its his friends who are the real brains in the organisation.

A half year back I helped a elementry school here in Norway with setting up a computer room, We installed Norton Internett Security 2003 on all computers with the "Parens Controll" feauture installed, works great!

I mean I read something about going arround Cyberpatrol somewhere.... but I don't remember where.... Depending on what operating system you use, make shure he doesn't have to many privilegies....
