The reason 420 is associated with pot is because that is the code the LAPD gives marijauna arrests (dunno if they still do, but they used to). That's the main reason anyway. It just so happens to fall under Hitler's birthday as well, etc...

Erm..I didn't know that? That's what all my friends say. I even have friends in LA who say that. Perhaps the LAPD use 420 in some way then, because everyone I've ever met that uh....puffs say that that is the reason the term 420 is used with pot.
