    Actually that's how I've seen the future of meat for a while now, and I for one will be happier with it.

        - Hey, I'm having a printacue (bbq).
        - So what, I have a meatprinter as well.
        - Yes, but mine is the new 1200 dpi model.
        - Ooh, hi-res meat !

          I don't think we're going to print our meat at home, but rather that it's grown in test tubes/printed/whatever in some lab, and then sold to us like meat is sold now. And I am certainly happy with good meat for which no animal had to live under the terrible circumstances we make most of them live now.

              We keep very good care of our cows on the farm. Hardly "terrible conditions". Taste damn good too

                You know Doc, it's easier to open those meat packages with a knife.

                  But I do open my "meat packages" with a knife, one that looks something like this;

                    The main thing I like about cultured meat is thatit will be more "perfect" and disease free. But I guess the "animal wasn't slaughtered" thing helps too.
