I was thinking about A06 myself, but this drive is much more appealing! So it DOES supports Mt. Rainier. Isn't Mt Rainer easywrite? (I have no clue about DVD drives haha, but I am looking for something GOOD to replace my Sony writer... it sucks and it eats my disc)

That's not bad at all! As compared to Pioneer A06, both drive share a similar price tag! Not bad at all! And you get a plextor!

A black tray, to reduce the jitter and to increase the quality of the burned CD

Euhm, call me ignorant (just an expression !), but how can the tray-colour affect the quality of the burned CD ?

Is it by absorbing reflections ? And if this is the explanation, is this really such a big difference ? (I can imagine light reflected by the CD and the tray to be very faint - too faint to write anything)

I'm not sure. Plextor has been going on about the black tray for months now (my Plextor 4x DVD+R has a black tray).
