Maybe some of their routing went thourgh the blackout area. We were out for 8 hours and only got power back because we're near an airport and HASMAT headquarters. 2.1 million other homes in our region are still without power.

MS has moved their windows update site to a different network, so it when the msblast or other virus brings it down the rest of MS will stay up.....I Read somewhere that the new windows update site is running on linux hehe

Nah, they just have some stuff being hosted by akamai, at least for a while. Akamai runs Linux.

yeah Akamai(linux) is just cacheing pages for MS update which is still running on windows....but it cool to see linux pop up every now and then, did you know MS has just started up a linux lab, 1000 people picking it to pieces...probably funneling the results straight to SCO
