Jap use to stand for Japanese here in the US. This stemmed from WWII and thankfully isn't much used anymore. Why do you always conclude something is anti semitic?

The modern use of JAP is towards Jewish girls. Also, it is an abreviation when used that way and thus capitalized. When used in a derogatory way toward japanese, it is not capitalized. I don't think anyone except 80-year old men say jap anymore.

I think Gurm's assumption is fascetious, but valid.
