It has MAJOR memory management problems for lots of files. (If you don't believe me, go set it downloading a couple thousand pics/files and come back and see me when the GPF's start flying!) And once it's started crashing, you have to uninstall/reinstall to get it to stop. It's quite irksome in that way.

Little update: I've recently found Net Transport. I haven't played with it much yet, but it looks promising - sort of like Netants, but without the ads (nor spyware - or at least Spybot thinks so...). Also the latest Leechget doesn't look bad - so the quest may finally be over

            Kurt,

If you wanna try BitBeamer, message me. I find it EXCELLENT, still the best FTP client BAR NONE. And since the company is GONE, I figure there's no harm in removing the 30-day trial thinger. HOWEVER, I'm not gonna post it here, since people get a little bent out of shape. YAR!

FireFox's built-in download manager is enough for me in most cases, though for real FTP I use the client built into Total Commander.

It's even better with the Download Statusbar extension.
