    Even better - there's a selection.

    If you go to "Motherboards - AMD" and search on socket 754, you get 5 models - 4 by Gigabyte plus the Asus.

        Hope the prices come down to a more reasonable level by next summer...the soonest I'll be able to afford one

            Ace's will have reviews of the P4 EE (3.4 gig presumably), Athlon64 3200+, Athlon64 FX-51 and one unannounced chip (johan: "I am going to add a 4th CPU tomorrrow, one that noone has ever seen benchmarks off (I am serious).") on the 23rd.

                            I have a feeling that Prescott will support x86-64 or something similar (to avoid being called AMD64)
