Can anyone recommend a tv-tuner card? I'm trying to fill up a Shuttle SB61G2, the AGP slot will have a Matrox P650, so it's just the PCI slot I gotta worry about now.
It's based on the Conexant CX23880 and arguably provides the highest quality. I have nothing bad to say about the hardware or the drivers, but the software is crap. Luckily Dscaler supports it now.
How is the ASUS??? I am using the RRG with my G400MAX, and it is awesome (even on XP), but I have heard that the ASUS has 10bit capturing - even though there aren't any 10bit sources!!
Last I heard, the Terratec had the best image quality. It was the PAL model, though, I don't know if the NTSC model (there is one, right?) is equally good.
I always like TTs manuals though.
BTW, the Cinergy 400 is the same hardware (IIRC), but without timeshifting software etc.
flyvideo 3000 , same chipset as cinergy 400/600 but a bunch cheaper..
Software aint the best but the wdm driver is good so you can use whatever software you want....even the cinergy software or ati mmc 8.6, ulead video studio..etc..
Comes in PAL or NTSC and a low profile version is available if you want to fit it in a small case...
