    Fix-it-Utilties

    First stage in removing Nortons. Seems very much better than Nortons system works. The registry checker came up with loads of errors. Even better it checks the driver section and it was interesting to see how much old junk I had in there.
    Defrag seemed slightly slower but at least you change the priorty which is also nice.

    Been using it for years! The registry defrag is also nice!
    According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

      Yes I forgot that one.

      One reason why they don't sell as well as Nortons is that the box looks cheaptak the last time I saw it. Judging by the web site they haven't repackaged it.

              It's better than Norton. But it still can't remove some sever damages in the registry that lead to program crashes.

                So Ontrack sold a product that COMPETES with EZ Recovery? Or does fix-it-tools not include file and format recovery, etc.?
