How the hell do you stop the media source from loading on each startup. I've removed from the startup process but it keeps getting retinstalled.

Doesn't matter fixed it.

You just... close it.

Yeh, normally though you have find a tick or something to turn it off. You don't expect things like close to keep the thing permantly closed.

Yeh the drivers had to re-install those three or four times before they installed properly.

My Audigy 2 Platinum, when I first put it in, killed my windows. (granted, like a dumb schmoe I forgot to remove the SBlive 5.1 drivers first...) But the install for the Audigy 2 drivers didn't even finish installing before it locked my computer up. THEN when I rebooted, NOTHING would load up. It just sat there, deader than Byock's sexlife.
LeechWah! Wah!

Ow, man. That's harsh.
I mean, what did Creative do to deserve that?Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
