They shouldn't be advertised as 5 POINT ONE if they don't have deep bass. Of course, everybody knowing anything about audio at all will know that the .1 oart's bullshit.
Why not? The .1 means that they can pick up the base semi-channel.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
it also doesn't have a front speaker, so, if you look at it that way, the whole being a 5.1 headphone is actually crap, i think they mean you can hook it up to a 5.1 source and hear sound in such a way that it resembles an actual 5.1 setup.
Main Machine: Intel Q6600@3.33, Abit IP-35 E, 4 x Geil 2048MB PC2-6400-CL4, Asus Geforce 8800GTS 512MB@700/2100, 150GB WD Raptor, Highpoint RR2640, 3x Seagate LP 1.5TB (RAID5), NEC-3500 DVD+/-R(W), Antec SLK3700BQE case, BeQuiet! DarkPower Pro 530W
Actually, the packaging says: 5.1 Ch equivalent 6. Speaker Headphones.
And they're pretty nice, bass sounds are indeed a bit on the weaker side, but still strong enough for something that's so close to your ears. I really like my pair.

Yeh but you're not considering People who like the the bass to be heard ten miles away and think it's realistic.
Chief Lemon Buyer no more Linux sucks but not as much
Weather nut and sad git.
I'm surprised! I'd check them out for gaming, but wouldn't really consider them for music (though maybe they are better than I think - I haven't listened to them yet).
