Hi All,
My son has resently installed an Audigy sound card in his computer (in my opinion a mistake).
He has been using Photoshop for quite some time with no problems.
Ever since he installed the Audigy card artifacts in form of small dashes "-" started to appear wherever there is a fonts layer.
DirectX 8 has made things worse and the only way to solve the issue is to disable the sound card which is not a clever solution.
Setup:
PIII (slot 1) 500 MHz
VIA cipset (probable cause)
256 Mb SDRAM
WinME
Any advice ?
Debbie
