Can't get Windows to install

    You could try and change the HDD-boot priority.
    -IF- you use more than one HD.
    Had similar problem,and i was able to fix it with that.

      Well I got the ****ing thing to work. I stopped at Best Buy last night after the movies and got another Seagate 80GB HDD. I popped it in and it worked flausouly.It got me thinking and I set up the older HDD again and booted off the Seatools CD that came with it and set it to write 0's to the drive. So I got up this morning and it was done...and now I'm putting Windows XP with no problems what so ever. I guess putting Linux on there totally fubared the MBR that I couldnt fix it with anything short of a LLF of the drive. I even got a linux rescue disk off the net to delete the partions and didnt work.

      All that is left for me to do now is to figure out if I want to do the switch a roo with the HDD's..the one I got is a 8MB cache 80 GB vs the 2MB 80GB drive I have in it now
      Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?
