Ok I'm having a problem making backups of some of my newer Game CD's like Railroad Tycoon 3. I used to use CloneCD, but they went belly up to due new laws being enacted in the EU. Is there anything else out there thats like CloneCD?

Very nice. It's been able to image CDs that seem to have hundreds of errors. It just takes longer when that happens but after the initial imaging there are no problems.

Ah yes, sorry. Anyways, CloneCD is not gone!
Slysoft now own and sell CloneCD. They're located outside of the EU (I think on some island), so the legislation is ignored by them. The original writer of Clone CD is behind Slysoft (though not directly, I suppose).

Why does clone dvd get excluded???

It doesn't copy encrypted (CSS) DVDs (this means that in effect it won't copy almost all consumer DVDs), so it only copies unencrypted content, which is still allowed (yet).
Slysoft sell a DVD driver that decrypts CSS though, which plugs into CloneDVD (or something like that)
