  • Congress to extend "No Call List" to SPAM....

    As they did with those annoying telemarketing calls the US Congress is poised to create a "No Call" list for both internet and cell phone SPAM.

      It's an awful idea, and an awful bill. It basically makes spam legal. Plus, the economics of spam are the opposite of phone calls. A "DO NOT CALL" list is nothing more than a list of valid e-mail addresses to spammers. Signing up for it will guarantee that you get lots of spam.

          Well at least they have worked out spam is a problem they have to deal with, its at least *a* step in the right general direction
