Friggen ATI drivers

Ok I just got my AIW 9600 PRO video card and I'm running into a problem with the new hotfix drivers. My install process was this:

WinXP
SIS AGP Drivers
Drivers + software off ATI CD
Uninstall Drivers and Control panel via Windows Control Panel
reboot
Install Hotfix drivers
Reboot
When I get done rebooting, I get window telling me its installing more hardware, but its unknown to windows and I hit cancel. Could these be the WMD drivers or something?
Click on TV and it tells me that TV player has failed to intizale the video (worked fine with drivers off CD)

This is on my Shuttle SS51G box...any suggestions?

Yes....don't hit cancel....you're stopping the software installation...likely the ATI WDM components as you mentioned.

p.s. Good choice on the video card!

ah found out what the problem is...the hotfix drivers don't have the WDM drivers, so I had to download the 3.9 WDM drivers to fix it.

The guys over at Rage3D where accually pretty good...better then previous experances over there
