ECS quality control is patcher then other board makers though.

You are more likely to end up with a dud when you buy ECS. Of course, if you get a good ECS board, it ussually runs well and is problem free. (like mine is)

No, ECS made them because they were cheap. Same for the duron-integrated boards.

AFAIK, SiS and ECS are only business partners, otherwise it must be stated in their annual report -but I'd be glad to learn sth I don't know.
