quick question: NT boot

    Woohoo ! It boots !!!!!

    It does give an error that some files are corrupt, and that an automated repair should be started. But I think the automated repair will now find a windows and solve these last issues!

      arghh... it won't fix the corrupt file... (something like vgafon.oem)

        Now it is in the setup process... (after choosing a new installation, you still get an option to repair an existing one)

          Ok, the system is back up and running. Some installed applications (e.g. Office) don't work anymore. Also, some files are lost (documents and settings), as they could not be copied from the original disk.

          Thanks for the advice guys!

            with all the sys files missing, didn't you simply forget "attrib -s -h *.*" ?

              Euhm, they got lost in the copy operation (from the original to the new disk)...
